Job Title: Vulnerability Engineer
Location: Hybrid, 3 days a week in Barrow-in-Furness
Salary: Between £40,000-£50,000
Role: Full Time, Permanent
Clearance: Eligible for SC Clearance
F5 are delighted to be partnering with one of largest Technology Consultancies in the UK, one that has strong ties to the Defence Sector.
Due to increased growth, our client is seeking a talented Cyber Security specialist with a strong background in Vulnerability Management to join a newly created project team.
As some of the systems you will be using will be highly sensitive, you will be required to be onsite in Barrow-in-Furness 3 days a week.
Experience in the following is required:
- 2-3 years in vulnerability management and 3-5 years in cybersecurity
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability management tools and frameworks (e.g. Nessus, Tenable, Microsoft Defender, IBM QRadar etc.)
- Experienced in risk assessments and interpreting vulnerability data
- Familiar with audits, compliance standards, and security governance (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST etc.)
- Skilled in delivering security training and awareness
- Clear communicator, able to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISM etc.)
