If you’re a Technical Architect Engineer who enjoys scoping, designing and delivering networks for in SC Cleared environments and who is looking join a company renowned for their expertise in network engineering, this is the right role for you.
You’ll be joining a team of specialists who work with a wide variety of network hardware and software. Whether it’s Cisco, Aruba, Juniper or Palo Alto, Zscaler, Sophos, building new network infrastructure, replacing old or optimising existing, you’ll enjoy the satisfaction of delivering high quality solutions for a variety of secure clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Working with stakeholders to scope, define and design new Network Infrastructure
- Outline Network Test and Integration Strategy
- Guide process from conception to completion, working closely with Network Engineers and Technical PMs
- Implement the network architecture in physical form, fit and function •
- Ensure compliance to client requirements
- Be hands-on when necessary
Essential Experience:
- Expertise in LAN/WAN architecture
- Well rounded Technical Networking Knowledge applicable to adaptive Project Engineering environment
- Designing IP based Networks.
- Network security, using ACLs, State full Firewalls and Stateless Firewalls
- Understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack
- Understanding of the ISO protocol stack
- Linux experience (command line/scripting)
- Requirements Management
- Understanding of Engineering Development lifecycles in Public Sector Organisations
Beneficial to have:
- An Understanding of MOD JSPs (440, 480, and 603)
Requires SC Clearance, Hybrid (onsite in Bristol or Corsham 3 days a week).
