Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Location: Hybrid, some onsite travel to South West London

Salary: Between £55,000 and £70,000 (DOE)

Clearance: Eligible for SC Clearance (active clearances desired)

F5 are delighted to be partnering with one of the most exciting Cyber Security Consultancies in the UK, an award-winning business that works with major organisations across the country.

Due to an influx of projects coming in the New Year, they are seeking to rapidly expand their Systems Engineering team, and are in need of Senior/Principal Systems Engineers with experience working in the Defence sector.

Experience Required:

  • Proficient in MBSE software (e.g., Enterprise Architect, DOORS)
  • Expertise in defence or commercial engineering
  • Bachelor’s in engineering or related field
  • 4+ years in systems engineering; working towards Chartership with relevant institute
  • Skilled in facilitating workshops and requirements gathering
  • Experienced “product owner” on projects; can lead Architecture Model development independently
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Mentors up to 10 engineers; capable of direct line management
  • Comprehensive understanding of the engineering life cycle
  • Proactively manages self-development and progression
