Senior AI Architect
Location: UK-wide (client-site travel)
Salary: £70,000 – £100,000 dependent on experience
Clearance: SC Eligible
We’re seeking an AI Architect to design and scale AI solutions that move beyond proofs of concept into enterprise-level, production-ready deployments.
In this role, you’ll combine deep technical expertise with a consultancy mindset, helping clients realise real business value from AI while guiding delivery teams to success.
This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of home working and visits to client sites across the UK when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and architecture of AI/ML solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Translate proofs of concept into productionised AI solutions and long-term client architectures.
- Engage with client architects, tech leads, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Provide thought leadership on GenAI, ML Ops/LLM Ops, graph analytics and modern AI stacks.
- Guide delivery teams (data scientists, engineers, consultants) to implement solutions aligned to best practices.
- Support business development through bids, proposals, and pre-sales activities.
- Stay ahead of rapidly evolving AI trends and advise clients on opportunities.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Security Clearance: Eligible for SC (UK residency of 5+ years).
- Technical Expertise: Proven track record in architecting AI/ML solutions at scale, ideally including productionisation of GenAI use cases.
- MLOps/LLMOps: Experience in deploying and managing models in production.
- Cloud & Architecture: Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure.
- Communication: Ability to explain complex AI/ML concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Consultancy Mindset: Experience in consultancy or demonstrable ability to identify business value, grow client relationships, and spot opportunities.
