Job Title: Senior Security Assurer

F5 are delighted to be partnering with an award winning Cyber Security SME that services the Defence Sector. They are seeking a Assurance specialist, someone who has excellent knowledge and understanding of MOD Policies & Frameworks, specifically JSP 453/604 and Secure by Design.
The company is registered to the Armed Forces Covenant and very leaver-friendly, with a mix of Royal Signals, RAF, Intelligence, and Navy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Secure by Design Assurance assessments and plan assurance approaches for new projects/customers
- Provide guidance on MoD and Government Security Policy
- Assess compliance with Information Assurance objectives, policies, and standards for DIO and Industry Partner systems
- Act as an impartial assessor of information system risks and recommend responses to findings
- Conduct audits, reviews, and provide feedback on technical risk assessments and treatment plans
- Develop security policies, plans, and procedures to support system assurance
- Ensure customers maintain records of key decisions, risks, and advice
Qualifications/Experience:
- Secure by Design or DART programme assurance
- JSP 453/604 – TRRA application process and evidentiary requirements
- Cyber Security & Information Assurance controls
- Certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISA, and or CISSP
- CARP (Cyber Attack Recovery Planning) knowledge (desirable)
