Job Title: Oracle Patch & Release Engineer
Location: Hybrid, Central London
Salary: Up to £90,000
Role: Full Time, 12 months Fixed Term Contract (Extension likely)

F5 are delighted to be partnering with a market leading RegTech organisation that has expanded rapidly over the last few years.
They are looking for a Senior Patch & Release Manager who has extensive experience with Oracle. You will work with their IT lead to create software releases and conduct out-of-hour (evenings and some weekends) patching on all their Oracle environments.
The Role:
- Coordinate and facilitate Oracle environment patching.
- Collaborate with IT Lead to create releases and schedule server patches with DBAs.
- Align priority work with releases and ensure effective client communication.
- Perform out-of-hours patching on live environments to minimise disruption.
- Monitor and report on patching compliance and effectiveness.
- Identify, test, and deploy patches promptly, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.
- Troubleshoot patching issues, including installation failures.
Experience Required:
- High proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, Shell Scripting, and SQL.
- Proven experience in Patch Management with a strong track record.
- Experience with JIRA and GitHub.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle patching schedules and methods.
- Detail Orientated and Independent Worker
