Title: Full Stack Developer – Java/React

Role: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Oxfordshire (Hybrid, 2 days a week in office)

Salary: £65,000-£85,000

I’m delighted to be working with a global leader in SpaceTech, who are looking to expand their Ground Segment Software team.

You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient backend services using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA, as well as architect and develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using React.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within the SpaceTech/SatComs industry, working on projects within Mission Operations and/or Ground Segment.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
  • Expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.
  • Strong frontend development skills with React.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Proficient in CI/CD tools like GitLab CI.
  • Strong SQL database and data management skills.
  • Experience with Hibernate and version control (Git).
  • Agile/SCRUM experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
