Cloud Pre-Sales Solution Architect
Location: UK-wide (client-site travel)
Salary: Up to £150,000 + bonus scheme
Clearance: SC Eligible and UK Nationals only
We’re seeking a Cloud Pre-Sales Architect to help design and deliver secure, scalable solutions for clients within the UK government. In this role, you’ll combine technical expertise with strong communication skills to guide organisations through their cloud journey from early discussions to solution design and delivery.
This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of home working and visits to client sites across the UK when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical aspects of pre-sales engagements, including opportunity qualification, solution design, and client presentations.
- Design secure and scalable architectures across Azure, AWS, and GCP, aligned with compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and communicate the value of proposed solutions.
- Produce proposals, cost models, and technical architecture documentation to support successful delivery.
- Stay current with industry trends in cloud, security, networking, DevOps, and data management.
Essential Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Eligible for SC and DV (UK Nationals only, no dual citizenship).
- Experience: Hands-on experience architecting solutions across at least two major cloud platforms.
- Certifications: Familiarity with recognised cloud certifications.
- Security & Compliance: Knowledge of UK government frameworks like NCSC and GDPR. and secure design principles.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Client Engagement: Track record in pre-sales, consultancy, or solution design roles.
