Title: Business Planning Analyst
Role: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Oxfordshire (Hybrid)
Salary: £45,000-£60,000

F5 are delighted to be working with a global leader in the SpaceTech sector, who are looking to add an Integrated Business Planning Analyst to their growing Business Operations team.

This is a newly created position that will play a key role in helping the business connect workforce planning, project demand, resource allocation, and financial forecasting into a single, joined-up planning function.

Working across the entire organisation, you’ll act as a trusted partner to teams at all levels, ensuring leaders have the insight and data needed to make informed decisions around capacity, project priorities, future hiring requirements, and operational performance.

The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capability with excellent stakeholder management skills, taking ownership of planning processes, governance frameworks, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills

  • Strong analytical and data modelling skills with the ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful business insights.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI experience, with the ability to create dashboards, reports, and planning models.
  • Understanding of resource planning, capacity planning, and/or workforce planning.
  • Experience working within project delivery, PMO, engineering, or operational environments.
  • Ability to design, implement, and maintain governance frameworks and planning processes.
  • Strong ownership mindset with a focus on data quality, standards, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple business functions.
  • Confidence to challenge constructively, hold stakeholders accountable, and escalate issues when required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Systems-thinking approach with strong problem-solving capability.
  • Current holder of, or eligible to obtain, UK SC Clearance.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, defence, or other complex operational environments.
  • Exposure to process improvement, business transformation, or change initiatives.
  • Experience leveraging AI or automation tools to improve reporting, forecasting, or planning activities.
  • Experience implementing planning systems, reporting platforms, or business-wide process improvements.
  • Understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and costing models.
