Business Development Executive – Insurance | Cloud Infrastructure
📍 Central London (Hybrid) – 2-3 days a week in the office.
💷 £120k–£140k base + 10% bonus
We’re recruiting a Business Development Executive to join a digital transformation consultancy and drive growth across UK insurance clients, focused on cloud infrastructure services.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building and growing accounts – taking existing client relationships and expanding them into larger, more strategic engagements over time.
What you’ll be doing
- Growing existing insurance accounts (typically £200k–£500k) into multi-million-pound relationships
- Identifying and shaping new opportunities within current clients and selected new logos
- Building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
- Working closely with solution and delivery teams to create winning propositions
- Owning pipeline and bookings targets
This is a hands-on BD role with a strong account-growth focus – not a pure new-logo hunter or a mega-deal sales role.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in business development or account growth within the insurance sector
- Experience selling cloud infrastructure products and services
- Background in a systems integrator, consultancy, or technology vendor
- Track record of growing accounts and building pipeline
- Comfortable operating in a matrix organisation
