I’m delighted to be working with a global leader in SpaceTech, who are looking to expand their IT Infrastructure team. After successfully placing this role a year ago, they are looking for an additional head as their operations have scaled even further.
You will be responsible for the configuration, management, and maintenance of their IT Infrastructure and growing AWS estate. This role doesn’t require extensive amounts of AWS experience (whilst beneficial), and could also suit someone with a broader IT skillset who is looking to further specialise in AWS.
Essential Skills
- Strong experience working in Linux & Windows environments
- Commercial experience with AWS and relevant technologies (e.g., EC2, S3, API Gateway)
- Excellent deployment experience (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Good database knowledge (e.g., SQL/NoSQL, MongoDB)
- Competent in automation/scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders/senior management
- Experience with containerisation, virtualisation, storage, and security/IDAM (desired but not essential)
